It’s a grill without the bar but boy was it good ….
Most of you will have heard of SoHo Bar and Grill over in Century Village, but not many of you will have heard of SoHo Grill at Wafi Mall. It’s got all the tappings of Century Village but minus the Bar bit due to its new location in Wafi Mall. I am yet to visit their outlet in Century Village but was invited to a food tasting event in the summer at their newly opened Wafi outlet. This weekend I paid them another visit, only this time they didn’t know I was coming …
The menu is great with something for everyone, steak house theme with all the ranch house favourites from wings, to tenders, combos, burgers and of course the most important section of any steak house the meat. There is also a small selection of desserts to choose from. It was a girls day out and the girls all opted for beef burgers. You get a choice of Angus or Wagyu beef with all the burgers, if you do visit opt for the Wagyu, you may pay a little more but it is worth it. There are two children’s menu options, chicken tenders at just 12 dhs and mini burger and fries at 20 dhs. Mitten polished off her burger in no time and wasn’t keen on sharing her fries! No complaints all round.
The star of the show though was my dish, there was some major food envy going on when my certified short ribs showed up. Marinated beef chuck ribs slow braised, flame grilled and served with SoHo’s BBQ glaze. I honestly can’t put into words how good these ribs were, fell off the bone!! Put it this way SoHo Grill will be my number one choice from now on when visiting Wafi Mall. SoHo Grill is the baby sister of SoHo Bar and Grill, no alcohol due to the location and a different pricing structure, they also offer a delivery service too.
You can find SoHo Grill @ Cafe Court, 1st Floor of Wafi Mall (Marks and Spencer end). You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter. If you have enjoyed this review you may want to like my Facebook page and register for my newsletters, thank you
