25 Degrees North

25 Degrees North hits TECOM …

Whilst out and about the last couple of days I noticed a new Indian Restaurant in Damac Executive Heights Tower in TECOM.   Curiosity got the better of me today and with a friend and two children in tow we headed down to check out the newly opened 25 Degrees North.

Access to the restaurant with a car is a bit tricky, you have to come in round the back of the building, but there is plenty of parking available.  The restaurant is brand new and is rather nice I have to say, I just loved the huge open planned kitchen stretching along one entire wall.  The menu is extensive yet precise with a good range of North Indian food to choose from with a great selection of curry and kebab dishes. GA is trying to diet so this is where things get a bit tricky, I WANT butter chicken so much so I make the children have it to share so I can have a taste.  I ordered the murgh saffrani tikka, boneless chunks of chicken delicately marinated in saffron flavoured yoghurt.  My friend opted for the ghara gosht, a rare treat of mutton enriched with spices and slow cooked in thick onion and yoghurt gravy, along with a portion of steamed rice to share.  ALL the food was fabulous, I can’t fault one thing, the whole experience was one that I shall be repeating again for sure 🙂

At 25 Degrees North they have a wicked lunch promotion at just 39 AED for the meat option and 35 AED for the vegetable option.  A choice of curry, served with daal, steamed rice and a choice of roti/naan.  You can also obtain a 25 Degrees Passport, every time you dine with a spend of more than 100 AED the card will be stamped, 100 AED discount from your bill on your 5th visit.  All I need to tell you now is that they are closed on Friday during the day but they are open for dinner and they do delivery as well.  Congratulations to Nadeem and his team, I am sure you have a huge success on your hands.

25 Degrees North is based at Damac Executive Heights Tower in TECOM.  You can find more information via this link to their website.  The are a bit new to social media but you will find them on Facebook and on Twitter.  I have uploaded more photographs to my Facebook page.
